Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Spot Reservations (“Spot Reservations,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information in connection with your use of our website located at https://spotreservations.com (the “Site”) and any related services we provide (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to be bound by it. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, you should not use the Site or the Service.
2. Nature of Our Service
Spot Reservations operates solely as an independent travel connection directory. We do not own or operate any airline, hotel, cruise line, train company, or travel agency, and we do not sell or issue travel tickets or reservations ourselves. Instead, our role is limited to connecting users with independent, third‑party travel reservation specialists who are able to assist with booking or modifying travel arrangements. In certain cases, we may receive compensation in the form of affiliate commissions or similar fees from third‑party partners when a qualified connection or transaction occurs. Our status is that of an intermediary and not a travel provider.
3. Information We Collect
3.1. Information You Provide Directly
We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you communicate with us, for example by email, contact form, or other means available through the Site. Such information may include, without limitation, your name, email address, telephone number, and any other content or information you choose to provide in your communication.
3.2. Information Collected Automatically
When you access or use the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information about your device and your interaction with the Site. This may include your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, device type, operating system, the pages you view, the links you click, the referring URL that led you to the Site, the date and time of your visit, and other usage and diagnostic data. This information is typically collected through cookies, pixels, scripts, and similar tracking technologies.
3.3. Call Data and Call Recording
If you dial a telephone number displayed on the Site or in our advertisements, our call tracking and routing partners (including, without limitation, MarketCall) and/or the independent travel reservation specialists to whom you are connected may collect certain call‑related information. Such information may include your telephone number, the date, time, and duration of the call, call routing details, call outcome information, and, where enabled, audio recordings and/or transcripts of the call. These recordings may be used for purposes such as quality assurance, training, compliance monitoring, and fraud prevention. If you do not wish for your call to be recorded, you should refrain from placing the call, or you should ask the third‑party specialist at the beginning of the call whether call recording is active and what options you may have.
4. Purposes for Which We Use Information
We may use the information described in Section 3 for one or more of the following purposes:
To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and the Service, including to facilitate your connection to independent travel reservation specialists when you choose to call a displayed number.
To respond to your inquiries, requests, and communications, and to provide customer support.
To analyze and understand how users access and use the Site, including through the use of analytics and measurement tools, so that we may improve the performance and usability of the Site and the effectiveness of our advertising.
To detect, investigate, and prevent activities that may violate our policies or be fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise unlawful, and to protect the security and integrity of the Site and the Service.
To comply with applicable legal obligations, regulatory requirements, and law enforcement requests, and to assert or defend legal claims.
5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies in order to provide and enhance the Site and to measure and improve the performance of our advertising. A cookie is a small data file that is placed on your device when you visit a website.
We may use, among other tools, Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) and Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (“Microsoft UET”). These services enable us to analyze aggregated traffic patterns and measure how users interact with our Site and our advertisements. These tools may collect or receive information about your device, browser, and activity on the Site. For additional information about how these providers process data, you may review the Google Privacy Policy and the Microsoft Privacy Statement available on their respective websites. You may also use Google’s browser add‑on to opt out of Google Analytics data collection if you wish.
You may configure your browser to refuse cookies, to delete cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Please be aware that certain features of the Site may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
6. Disclosure of Information
We do not sell your personal information in exchange for monetary consideration. We may, however, disclose or make available information as described below:
To third‑party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, security, analytics, call routing, and related technical services, subject to appropriate contractual safeguards.
To call tracking and routing partners, including MarketCall, for purposes of connecting your calls, measuring call performance, and preventing fraud or misuse.
To independent third‑party travel reservation specialists, when you choose to call a number displayed on our Site and are connected to such specialists for potential assistance with travel booking.
To governmental authorities, law enforcement agencies, courts, or other third parties when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable law or legal process, to protect our rights or the rights of others, or to prevent or address fraud or security issues.
In connection with a corporate transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, reorganization, or bankruptcy, in which personal information may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to applicable law.
7. Third‑Party Travel Reservation Specialists and Websites
When you are connected, via a phone call initiated from our Site or advertisements, to an independent travel reservation specialist, that third party may collect additional information from you, including payment information and detailed booking data, in order to facilitate travel reservations. Such collection and use of information are governed by the third party’s own privacy policy, terms, and practices, which we do not control. Similarly, the Site may contain links to external websites or services operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of such third‑party sites and services, and your use of them is at your own risk.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Retention periods may differ depending on the nature of the data and the purpose for which it was collected. Call logs and call recordings may be retained by our call technology partners or the independent travel reservation specialists in accordance with their own retention policies and applicable laws.
9. Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information under our control from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Accordingly, while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event that we become aware of a data incident affecting personal information under our control, we will take steps that we deem appropriate, including providing any notices required by applicable law.
10. Do Not Track Signals
Some web browsers may transmit “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) signals to websites. Because there is currently no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to such signals, the Site does not respond to DNT signals at this time. If relevant standards are adopted in the future, we may update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
11. California Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of the State of California, you may have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), with respect to personal information that we have collected about you. These rights may include the right to request access to specific pieces of personal information, the right to request deletion of certain personal information (subject to legal exceptions), the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information, and the right to opt out of certain “sales” or “sharing” of personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
We do not sell personal information for monetary compensation. However, our use of certain analytics and advertising tools may, under California law, be considered a form of “sharing” for cross‑context behavioral advertising. If you are a California resident and wish to exercise your right to opt out of any such “sale” or “sharing,” you may submit a request by sending an email to support@spotreservations.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share.” We will process such requests in accordance with applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights under California law.
12. Nevada Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of the State of Nevada, you may have the right to direct us not to sell certain personal information that we have collected or will collect about you. At the present time, we do not sell personal information as “sale” is defined under Nevada law. If you have questions regarding our data practices with respect to Nevada residents, you may contact us at support@spotreservations.com.
13. Children’s Privacy
The Site and the Service are not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under the age of thirteen (13). If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of thirteen without verifiable parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information from our records. If you believe that we may have collected personal information from a child under thirteen, please contact us using the information provided in Section 15 below.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time in our sole discretion. When we do so, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Any changes will become effective when posted on the Site, unless otherwise indicated. Your continued use of the Site or the Service after any such changes are posted shall constitute your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
